I'd like to begin by acknowledging the traditional custodians of the land on which many of us are gathered virtually today.

I pay my respects to elders past, present, and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Let's all take a moment to reflect on the privilege of living on and benefiting from this land and its surrounding waters.
