Dana comes to the studio to plug what UAS has to offer to the Ketchikan public.
So the university has kind of stepped in and started to work on supporting the high school students with dual enrollment.
I think everybody's heard about the state that we're in and some of the programs not being available.
And so the Ketchikan Gateway Borough generously gave us a grant that we are currently utilizing for basic welding.
But ultimately, we don't want to always have to rely on the borough for funding just because they're going to be pulled on for so many different things.
And we have a, there'll be QR codes and things like that that'll come up on our Facebook.
I'll, at the end of this little plug, I'll give the website that people can go to donate to.
But really what we're looking for to do is to fund as many dual enrollment classes as we possibly can, as many high school students as we can.
We're also looking for some additional support to fund a couple of additional basic welding students.
