Drew SlocumHostso yeah that got started a little over two years ago at this point we were approached by our marketing team um as jimmy and i kind of um you know i have the pleasure of working with uh multiple teams and inspect points so i do a lot of work with jimmy who you know basically heads up our support team And kind of they kind of noticed that the way we work together, kind of as during our introductions, as we heard myself not coming from a fire protection background, but being more with the actual product and engineering side of it.
And then Jimmy, who actually has the wealth of that knowledge, as we would look through support issues and kind of discuss the actual product of InspectPoint, they kind of saw that opportunity.
that kind of collaboration really working and the way it went back and forth of kind of seeing it and then understanding it and then kind of, you know, discussing basically what was built here, showing the value to our current customers as far as, you know, why this gives them, you know, specific points in in the product and then leveraging Jimmy, who, again, has been a technician and a in the office, basically covering all, you know, wearing all the hats there saying, hey, if you had this particular feature at that point, you know, how would this have helped you in your day to day? So yeah, Coffee with Jimmy and John, it's ran, I think the third Thursday of every month, Jimmy, at this point.
Just again, open to anyone to come, questions, everything like that, topics, new features and existing, really trying to kind of show what the product does within the fire protection industry.

And I think the contribution that John brings is really... uh, important and really helpful.

I mean, he's the sort of guy that remembers everything that he sees and reads.

And, um, so, uh, it's yeah, the, the perspective that he's able to bring, uh, with the two of us together, he just knows the product so well.

And he's worked with so many different customers who have so many different real-world applications.

And so not only has he touched every area of the product, he's implemented it and however many ways that it can be implemented and there's always uh the first guy to kind of think outside of the box to you know think how how can we meet this customer's specific need you know uh so
i guess that's kind of something to say about the industry itself right there's in in our customers you know, a lot of them may do things certain ways.
So it's kind of, you know, and that's the vastness of the fire protection industry, right? You have your compliances and you have that.
But again, I learned from Jimmy all the time, you know, related to our, you know, again, being a system and asset, you know, based question platform of going, hey, here's, you know, the out of the box, you know, questions from inspect point, but oh no, this customer, you know, Jimmy, and you could probably speak to this of how we've kind of, you know, the flexibility of just the question sets, right? related to maybe preactions or winterization, right? Like how we switch that up related to, you know, specific from the industry kind of these are, you know, this specific use case can be done here.
And as Jimmy mentioned, not outside the box, I guess, but kind of really maximizing the potential of, you know, what the platform is.

And I think that is one of the first things that I learned when I came to at spec point was the, you know, when you work in for a fire protection company, you learn the way that they do it.

And I had these ideas, you know, when I first started at inspect point and you, you, uh when you start to talk to other companies you realize literally there are no two companies that are the same every company has a different way of doing it and a different way of reporting exactly what they report what they want on their reports and um so i mean just the the diversity of the uh you know of the fire protection industry And some companies only do, you know, only do extinguishers and some only do fire alarm and some do everything, you know, they, they do everything.
