Wow.

So Going by your friends' houses, I want to, because this is a great place to tell, but that must have been such a shocking, you know, like to see them gone and devastated.

It's almost like being in a war zone or something.

Yeah, absolutely.

Everything.

At this point, I want to go back, because now before we get into the three days of heroic things you guys did as a family, which it is, it's heroic and it's brave and courageous.

Let's talk about the Palisades.

Growing up, what home means to you and what it meant to, because I think this is, you know, it really leads into seeing it all devastated.

Let's go back to now, a time when... you know, you were younger and what's it mean growing up there and the community and people and friends?

Yeah, it's I don't know where to start.

It's I feel so blessed to have lived in the same place my whole life.

I know there's a lot of people that do a lot of moving, even just moving different states, different towns, sometimes different countries.

But I've lived there my whole life with my brothers.

My oldest brother is 28 now.

He's lived there his whole life.

My parents have lived in this house for 32 years now I think and so like everything whole life was just kind of like oriented about around the Palisades Until high school like I went to school two minutes away in the Palisades My friends are from the Palisades although like summer stuff.

I would do is in the Palisades and so The Palisades feels like home.

I feel like I know every little fun thing to do, every hike that's there, every view, all the cool things that come with living in the same place for such a long time.

I don't know, the house itself definitely has so much nostalgia around it.

The area that we live is like, it's called the Highlands, so it's in the back, kind of hilly, mountainous area of the Palisades.

And that was amazing because, you know, there's a little creek by our house.

We'd love to do little hikes down there.

Our dog loved it.

She would be going in the water all the time.

And, yeah, we lived on a cul-de-sac.
