Host Scott duPont kicks off Season 8 with his partner & Co-Producer, Howard Farling who helped raise the money for a unique found footage film industry insiders & critics are all talking about.

So before we were able to get attached to The Jesus Tapes, we were talking to another mutual friend, 'cause you and I were looking for a movie to do.

How, how important do you think the team is before you go start making phone calls, how important is the team when you're sharing the package?
Yeah, that's, I mean, that's the basics of your package is who's involved, and that, that's a lot of it.
So that's really, really important to have people that have a track record in back of you.
So, uh, some of the, some of the don'ts you don't want to do, you don't want to make a sizzle reel and then, "Here, here.
You know, look at my little trailer that I made." And then there's nobody behind it.
You know, there's no, uh, names behind it as far as a producer or people that, uh, have some kind of a track record.
So I think it's important to try to line yourself up with, with people that have a track record, that, that, h- you know, have proven, um, what they've done, that they know how to make a really good film and sell a really good film.

I want to, I want to double down on that, Howard, 'cause one, one of the reasons that attracted me to this project is we had Rick, Maggie, and Louise attached as part of our team.

I don't, I don't ever want to say it's easy to rake, raise money, but it's a lot faster if you have a really deep veteran team than a couple guys just out of film school and one of their buddies, right?
You said, you know, it's, it's not easy to do it, and it's not easy to do many things that are good in life.
