Just give a quick synopsis of how you got into the business.
1:15
Yeah, so basically I was going to college at the University of Oregon, and, uh, in the green room there was a, a flyer on the bulletin board saying, "Hey, do you wanna, you wanna be in a film? You know, uh, come down to this address." So I was in the acting, uh, or the, the theater department.

I'm being an actor.

And so I went down there, and I end, ended up auditioning for Michael Chinich, who was actually the main casting director for the film.
1:41
Everybody else didn't really get in with him, but I kind of talked my way in and I, I was doing some kind of local theater as well, working at a repertory company, besides doing theater at the University of Oregon.

So I kind of got in to, to him, and they, you know, they had me read, they auditioned me and everything.

They asked me to cut my hair and, and I didn't want my hair cut like a buzz cut, so I said, "No, actually I'm working on a play," which I was at the time, uh, called Mrs. Dally, His Lover, and I said, "I can't cut my hair, so I didn't have to do that." But basically, uh, they put me in the Delta fraternity, which is what the fraternity that John Belushi was in, and, uh, [laughs] I was right.
