Oh, you need the male component," or, "You need the, you know, dad component in the scenario." And it's like, can, can we, can we not? [chuckles]
No, yeah, I was actually very worried about, and my parents were actually very worried about, about like the commentary from people.
So I did not put my pregnancy with Scout on social media at all until I had the baby.
Plot twist." [both laughing] You know? Mostly 'cause I didn't want any ne- and I was like, once they're here, they can't say anything, you know? But I'll have to say, people have been overwhelmingly positive.
There are maybe one to two pe- you know, like a handful of people who've been like, "Well, doesn't she wanna be with someone?" And I was like, I mean, but not in the r- not just a h- body, not just a warm body, you know?
Like, again, um, [lips smack] so yeah, I think the other thing I always thought about too is like my grandmother, for instance, on my mom's side, so she divor- like she w- she divorced after my mom graduated high school, and she sa- she was like, "I'm never getting remarried." Like I un- the only reason I, I understand people have to do for n- financial reasons, but she was fortunate not to have to do that, and she was like, uh, I just thought about how her life was so different 'cause like I don't think she could have her own credit card.
