Kendall O'ConnorHostSuper excited to be here in London where we're introducing a number of new technologies.
Today I'd like to highlight a couple of launches that we're making in the IOL space, one being Clarion Panoptix Pro.
Clarion Panoptix Pro is building, of course, upon the legacy brought forth by Clarion Panoptix, which is the market-leading trifocal that really has helped establish the category in this important space.
Clarion Panoptix Pro further improves upon Clarion Panoptix by further reducing light scatter.
As you guys know, in the trifocal space, the key and met need is to continue to push the envelope in terms of reducing dysphotopsies and visual disturbances.
And reducing light scatter by 50%, that's the improvement that Panoptix Pro is delivering over regular Clarion Panoptix.
that amount of reduction ultimately enables not just for light scatter to be reduced, but also for the light to be redirected where it matters for patients across the visual continuum, thereby enabling patients to see more and to get the most benefit from their trifocal technologies.
So this technology has been in the US, of course, for about a year now, receiving tremendous feedback from surgeons and very high patient satisfaction.
And we're now thrilled to be bringing it to Europe following CMARC earlier this year.
And we're also very excited to be launching Clarion TruePlus here at the SCRS in London.
Clarion TruePlus is an enhanced monofocal technology.
It will bring excellent distance vision, which is on par with what we're seeing with Clarion monofocal, which of course is the gold standard when it comes to monofocal IOL distance vision, but it will also provide dependable and reliable functional intermediate vision, which is what surgeons and patients expect when implanting and when receiving a monofocal plus implant.
