Holiday Highs, Travel Lows & Real Talk

So yeah, so we ended Croatia on an interesting high and then jumped in the car and got ready for Our first stop, which was Graz.

We weren't really looking forward to it, to be honest.

The place that we were staying had no air con and it was an awful night's sleep when we were there.

So we were kind of dreading going back there.

But we just said, look, we'll just kind of maybe space it out a little bit more so that we just get there, put our heads down and go to bed.

And that's it.

And so we did.

So I think we stopped.

We actually stopped at a little place in Slovenia.

So we got to stop there.

We ended up just taking the girls to McDonald's because one, trying to save a little bit of cash and two, just easy.

And yeah, I think Kevin was also getting quite tired, even though it was the first drive.

So yeah, so we did that.

it was actually quite cool when we were at that McDonald's, they had like an interactive table.

Uh, so when you sat there, like the kids could play games.

So the girls were playing air hockey, but it was, it, it wasn't like a real air hockey.

It was a virtual, uh, air hockey, but it was very cool.

Uh, so they were sitting and doing that.

So we had some, they got to get some fresh air, uh, ran around in the little like play area that they had outside for a bit.

And then, um, And then we headed off.

So we're back on the road, not that much longer, like not for that long, sorry, maybe like 40, 50 minutes.

And we get pulled over as we come off of one of the, like go past one of the tolls.

And she said, oh, do you have your vignette? which is like, I guess, a pre-toll payment.

And Kevin said, yeah, yeah, it's here.

And she's like, okay.
