How do you qualify to be Miss Universe contestants? You have to be very beautiful.

We have a lovely Miss USA.

We have 92 countries all told, and it's broadcast to 150 countries all over the world.

So it's one of the largest broadcasts actually in the world.

Donald Trump was accused by several Miss USA and Teen USA contestants of going backstage while they were getting dressed.

While that seemed like a success to people on the outside, it was definitely not a success as far as what I had planned for that season of my life.

I knew the Miss USA organization was in shambles, but I still decided to push through with the pageant anyways.

I knew that I didn't have the financial ability to really like put the pageant on, but I still did it anyways.

And it was like all these little things that I forced to make the pageant happen.

And I rushed it because.

In my brain, I knew, oh, I need to get on this ship before it starts sinking.

I need to make sure that like I get at least one year under me before I can say that like the Miss USA organization is going down the drain, right? And so for me, it was more of trying to, I guess, prove something to myself that like I could do it instead of being patient and waiting for the right moment to open and for God to actually tell me like, okay, now you can do this.

Like now's the time to do this.
