Because often I have tried to be seen by people that don't want to recognize me, and I feel like I have to be someone that I'm not in order to get attention.

But with God, He made us in His perfect and beautiful image, and we don't have to change who we are.
That's such a strong truth, just that we can hold to that reminder that God sees us.
And in our society where we are constantly, it is about being seen, it feels like, right? With our social media society, so much of what we, I joke, like when I was, Coming in high school, like Facebook had just started, right? So I was at this very cusp of the beginning of social media.
I think I got on Facebook when I was like in 10th grade, right? So it's like this whole, and then
And so now I even look, I look at your generation and I'm going, wow, you know, to grow up being surrounded by constantly being seen, right? And the pressure that comes with that, that just didn't exist when I was growing up.

I think a lot of it is trying to be good enough for someone else and trying to be on top.

And it's a lot of... struggle and like a lot of pressure and I think that if we all just recognize that it doesn't
really matter in the end that it wouldn't be a lot better yeah yeah that's good I think that you know sometimes we can get really caught up in in that comparison like you said that kind of back and forth and um I remember a specific time when I was in college that I remember like kind of realizing first, I don't know, it was like the Lord really spoke to me.
And he was like, you know, I had a thought, a beautiful young woman walked into the room and I just thought, man, like she's got it all together.
