Um, some things have happened this week, chaps, in the championship leading up to the playoff final.
I was, I was briefly worried at some point a couple of weeks ago we might not have much to talk about going into this game, but it's been a, um [laughs]...
But it's been, it's been unprecedented, I think it's fair to say, in terms of what's gone on.
Um, what, what we can say is the final is going to be Middlesbrough versus Hull City on, on Saturday.
Obviously, unless you've been, uh, living under a rock, you will know that, uh, we've obviously had the Spygate scandal and Southampton, who beat Middlesbrough over two legs, uh, have been expelled, um, from, from the playoffs.
So we have it confirmed that Middlesbrough, who lost in the semifinals, are now through to face Hull City in the final.
Uh, it's all, um, it's all a bit, it's all a bit mad, isn't it, Gary, what's happened the last few days.
It's hard to know how to react at this point because we just, uh, just don't expect things like this to happen.
Uh, it's been massively tarnished by what Southampton have done and Todd Boehly and the people around him have, uh, have done with all this.
You hope the club does the right thing and reimburses them and refunds them with the money that they will have paid for hotels if they can't get it back on the trains.
Hull City supporters who are wondering whether literally they're coming or going, and Middlesbrough, and Middlesbrough supporters as well.
