Well, for one thing, the globe is pretty small, so if our glaciers are melting, your sea level is rising.
So the fact that we're seeing tremendous change there, I think just matters to people on that emotional level as well.
And because we have a really connected climate system, all of these rapid changes in the Arctic are actually coming down and affecting our everyday lives.
