Virgo New Moon and the Week’s Major Transits0:40 – 18:20

Katie SweetmanHost

0:40

We are in Virgo season.

Katie SweetmanHost

0:42

We've been in Virgo season for the last couple of weeks.

Katie SweetmanHost

0:45

And this is a season.

Katie SweetmanHost

0:47

Virgo is the sixth sign, the zodiac.

Katie SweetmanHost

0:49

It is an earth sign where we return to our day-to-day duties and responsibilities.

Katie SweetmanHost

0:56

And so the rough idea, I realize we are an international audience.

Katie SweetmanHost

0:59

We are all over the globe.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:00

We are Northern Hemisphere, Southern Hemisphere.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:03

Some of you in my Tuesday Club.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:08

But I realize we're an international audience is what I was trying to say.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:12

And when I say that August is typically here in the Northern Hemisphere, it's time for the summer holidays.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:19

It's vacation.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:21

People are not thinking about work and projects and duties and responsibilities.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:27

And this is a time, Virgo season.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:29

Kids go back to school.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:30

We go back to work.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:31

We have to really focus on the important details that maybe have taken a... you know, sort of sidestep for the last four weeks, five weeks, for example.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:43

So this week in particular, we have a Virgo new moon.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:47

It is a reboot for the season.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:49

A new moon is always a wonderful time to set intentions, to refocus, to reprioritize.

Katie SweetmanHost

1:56

And depending on where Virgo falls in your own personal astrology, that area of your life will be highlighted for the next four weeks.

Katie SweetmanHost

2:06

One of the things I love about Virgo, I was actually raised by a Virgo.

Katie SweetmanHost

2:09

My mother would have been 76 tomorrow on the 8th.

Katie SweetmanHost

2:12

But Virgo is a very underappreciated sign.

Katie SweetmanHost

2:16

And I say this from time to time because I think it's important for us to understand.
