Rivian goes to market, Xiaomi goes big, and a $14,000 tiny EV in the US

Kind of a slow news week this week.

We don't have that much news item to discuss, but we have a few interesting things that I think are worth discussing.

We have Rivian that, um, [lip smack] popped up on the stock market, and they, as they often are, they're quite opportunistic, and they jump on the opportunity to raise a lot of, uh, of capital.

So we're gonna discuss that.

We're gonna discuss Xiaomi, the, uh, big newcomer on the EV scene in China, taking over and, uh, soon enough, uh, launching internationally.

They expanded their lineup this week with, uh, a new full-size SUV with a twist.

We're gonna discuss BYD and their supercar, their, their, their sports car, the Denza Z coming to Europe, and we get pricing on it.

Uh, we're gonna discuss Toyota dragging their feet on the Highlander electric.

Um, that's a bummer.

[lip smack] And then a tiny EV being available in the US, which is quite rare, so I'm gonna discuss that at the end of the show.

And, uh, it's gonna be a quick show on the news side this week, so we're gonna have plenty of times to talk to you guys about, uh, about any of, uh, any topic in the EV world that you would like Seth and I's expert take on, or any question, uh, you can put them in the comment section below when I get to it, uh, in just about half an hour.
