And in fulfillment of these intentions, I took to heart the Rebbe's directive to produce smicha for Rabbanus and receive smicha in a manner through which we will know what to do in our homes when questions arise, as printed on the back of all of our booklets, which led me to L'man Yilmadu.
The Rebbe encourages and empowers each of us to learn and earn smicha in order to be responsible for our own lives and those of our close ones.
Additionally, I believe his encouragement is not merely for the sake of the title rabbi, but as our program is entitled, L'man Yilmadu, meaning in order to learn.
