It's called Turn of the Screw and it's based on the Henry James novel of the same name.

It's described as a spine-tingling immersive performance set within the grand yet shadowed rooms of Walterton.

As dusk falls, the audience will journey through the hall and its mist-shrouded grounds following a young governess who arrives to care for two orphaned children, only to confront chilling apparitions which she believes are corrupting the children.

Are the ghosts real, or are they born of a fevered imagination? In this atmospheric retelling, the classic gothic tale, every flicker of candlelight and distant whisper draws you deeper into the mystery.

Blending live performance, haunting landscapes and the eerie beauty of Walterton Hall itself, this is Theatre That Surrounds You, an unforgettable evening where nothing is quite as it seems.

Now over in Suffolk, Sudbury Dramatic Society are deep into rehearsals for their production of Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution.

That one is on between the 15th and 18th of July and tickets are available via sudburydramatic.com. Also do keep an eye out for my interview with Malcolm Hollister of the Society about the production.

There's also a gripping production happening at the ADC Theatre in Cambridge next month.

It's called Quiz and it's based on Charles Ingram who cheated his way to the million pound prize on who wants to be a millionaire.

It's being staged by boards, which is probably an acronym, but I'm not sure what for.

And it's on between the 7th and the 11th of July with tickets available via adctheatre.com.

As usual, I'll feature all the shows mentioned on my social media accounts when I can be bothered to do so, as well as some others I haven't had time to feature.
