Jun 14, 2026 · 1 hr 3 min · 22 segments
This week’s podcast is presented by Stephen and Jacquieline. We hear from: - Witherspoon, with reflections on character development; - Jo and John, wondering whether Helen or Pip is the more…
Steven BowdenHostPurple PumpkinMichelleHello, lovely Dumpty Dumpers.
It's Sue, Queen of Tart here, and well, time for another week, and what a week it's been in Ambridge.
There were a lot of pregnant pauses.
Alistair did pregnancy testing at Brookfield.
Pip, at her most Pipist, assumed that Stella would be prepared to get knocked up if it turned out that Pip has the breast cancer and other cancer genes.
Tracy has lost her father for all intents and purposes, as Bert seems well settled with Clive.
She's therefore found a full-time job faffing about with cheese.
Susan bought her lunch to celebrate.
Adam has been plotting behind Brian's back, and Brian arranged his own cognitive function test and now has a bit of paper he can wave to prove he is sane.
I have deja vu back to Neville Chamberlain getting off a plane waving a bit of paper in 1938, and we all know how that turned out.
Brian is withdrawing the apron strings, which, let's be frank, he wouldn't know two ends of a wooden spoon or an apron if you paid him.
David tried to talk some sense into Brian, but he was having none of it.
Open Farm Sunday came and went without anything happening at Brookfield, and Bridge Farm was overrun by the Great British public.
Ed was part of a tug of war contest like a small child in a Caucasian chalk circle between Adam and Brian, culminating in him being asked to do the farm paperwork by Brian.
I've got nowt against Ed, but he's a farmer, not an administrator.
There was a meeting with Martin Gibson which did not go well.
Adam was left desperately clinging to the BL contracts as Brian shouted, "Get off my land." Amber may well have saved the day for the Borchester shire Agricultural Show, and we left her contemplating getting her dad to take one of the unsold trade stands.
At least they are upgrading the Wi-Fi and this may save the day.
The minibus to Birmingham had a flat tire on the bypass, jeopardizing the T20 women's match attendance.
George and Will saved the day this time with some brute force.
The timing of all this stuff with the T20 got me very confused as I thought all cricket happened in the daytime, but it turns out these happen at night as well.
The best lines of the week for me were from Jakob complaining about Alistair's cheese crisp and providing him with breath mints.
Jason wore his kilt and Tracy refused to sit next to him.
