you enjoy the coaching? Do I enjoy coaching? I tell you, some days I do and some days I think, oh, this is crazy.
Look, I think One of the things that I fell into a lot was leadership in my work.
Like even when I was, you know, managing programs and I always had big teams, you know, I think by the time I finished one kind of programs, I was looking at like 44 people underneath me.
So I think being able to lead and be able to talk and be able to motivate was there.
And in football, I think the fact that I could play and people could respect that and saw how I could do that.
So I think when I went into coaching, At the start, the coach I was when I started and the coach I am now is totally different.
I just ran on a little bit of, I think it's this, you know what I mean? And I think I can get away with this.
And so I do enjoy coaching, but I'm enjoying more now of all the aspects of coaching, you know? So not just like management, more tactical and...
And just with this pressure on it, like it's a matter like in my league or in any league, like if you're coaching teams, you're so invested in it.
So I kind of know what's going on with them at all times, you know, inside and outside as much as I can of football.
So I can support them to be the best kind of player they can be, you know, on any given week and any given game.
But like you get so invested in it, you know, and then, you know, what I found from being a player and a coach was when I lost a game as a player, I'd just go train and I'd get over it much quicker, you know.
like I'd finish one job now and I'd start the other one in the evening and that then rolls all the way through so I enjoy a lot of it but I don't know these would be my famous last words I don't know how long I'll be in it you know what I mean like it's it takes it it takes a bit you know and I've got like a family and I've got you know, my job and all that.
And you kind of wonder, like, if I didn't do it, what would that look like more? You know what I mean? Like, that's so much a family thing, but more the work thing.
Like, how would I progress even more in my career? Would I do different things? But I can tell you now, football has always been the constant, as I said before.
Like, in last year, two years, when I was starting other businesses, it wasn't great for me.
