... a lot with domestic dogs and cats are all overweight and diabetic and getting cancer at young ages.
I turned the cats to carnivores too.
My cats are now carnivore along with me.
They don't-
...
they don't get, you know.
They're, they're happy little dogs, and they, they get around doing well on that.
Um, you, um, said something that I thought was, was, was sort of interesting with regard to, you know, the physicians that you encountered said, "Don't do this type of diet 'cause it's not sustainable." And as someone who's, you know, personally been doing, you know, certainly low carb diets for over 15 years and a carnivore diet for now 10, um, you know, I, I don't think that's necessarily the truth.
I mean, there's certainly some people where it may not be sustainable, and particularly if you don't support them, you know, and if you tell them, "Hey, you're gonna die.
You're... [chuckles] It's not good for you." Uh, you know, and, and, and no one can sustain it, then, then you sort of set the expectation down negative.
It's like if I, if I said, "Hey, you're gonna have knee surgery, but yeah, knee surgery most people can't do very well and the outcomes are bad," and, you know, I mean, who's gonna, who's gonna believe in that? You know, when you, when you, when you sort of set the expectations so low.
So it's good that you found, uh, you know, 'cause I, I mean, you mentioned your father.
Um, you know, you saw him, you know, 93 years of age on multiple meds, quality of life diminished.
Now some people say, "Well, that's just aging," you know? And, and, but I, I do think that a lot of how we age is, is, is under our control and under the control of the medical community depending on what we do.
And sometimes, you know, when you see these old folks that are on six, eight, 10, 12, 15 medications, and it's just like we don't even know what's, what's...
Yeah
