Marmon Utility President Ken Woo highlights the advanced manufacturing industry in NH and shares insight into how the company has been delivering electric infrastructure supports for 75 years.
Now, in your opinion, what do you think is driving that increased demand for domestically manufactured electric grid infrastructure? Why do we want to keep it here? What are you sort of seeing in that regard?
Yeah, well, I'll back up half a step and say, you know, there's an old joke in our industry that if Thomas Edison woke up today and looked up at the electrical power system, it'd be no different than it was when he was alive over 100 years ago.
And as we know in our lifestyle, we are so dependent on electrical and electronic devices and things like that.
Even though it's a global economy today, but there's also a lot of geopolitical things happening, let's just say.
As I mentioned several times over, our engineering and technical support makes us closer to our customers, really understanding what their true needs are.
Yeah, I know that's an issue for a lot of people.
And I think that's a little peace of mind is having that home base here, especially if you're in New England.
So I know that's important.
