And I don't really know where to start with this match, but Borussia Dortmund scored early.
How much does that kind of dictate what you have to say about this game for you?
Um, it's, it's funny because I don't, if you've been listening to the podcast, you're probably going to expect me to complain about your assy.
Um, but I feel like I'm going to give him a little bit of credit in this one because he did find a goal in a, a pretty tight position.
Um, and I think that getting an early goal always kind of like helps the momentum.
Um, He still did a little bit of his signature flopping, but that goal was really important.
And what I would like to focus on more is what I felt was some pretty straightforward attacking football from Dortmund.
I was really impressed by the press from both Greeks.
And it was refreshing to feel like Dortmund was actually having a few reasonable shots on goal.
And I don't know, it set me up to feel like we're going to have a pretty good season.
Of course, the Constantelius injury is just devastating.
Yeah, I liked what I saw from... everything except our final third play i would say like the finishing was very good do not get me wrong we scored two goals especially garaci's great finish but those first two thirds of play like we very easily got the ball into their half and i feel like that is Just down to how good the two Greek players are together.
Like, Giannis Constantelis with some of the ball carry.
Well, both of them with the ball carry.
But also, like, you'd want to say, like, one was better at carrying than the other.
But there's not really that much between them.
And then there's not really that much between, like, I guess Kourestis is a better passer.
He has profiled that way to a significant degree.
But for both of them, honestly, like they have that passing in their game.
Like the total ball carrying distance for Gretzis on top of that is 233.8 meters.
That's really incredible.
We did not see that type of ball carrying last year.
And for Giannis Constantelis in... just 53 minutes, it's 163.3 meters, so right up there within total ball progression of that is 114.8 meters.
Like, these guys were carrying the ball, they were beating their guys in open space, and getting that ball into the final third in good areas.
But the main thing I want to talk about in this match is kind of the issues once they got there.
