Touch That Tells Everything
Andrew compares two identical touches in kitchen

Last week I went live to walk through Receiving To Give, the essay for the women. This week I'm going live again for its twin, Giving To Receive, the men's essay I published Friday. It's the most…
Now, this one's primarily for men.
This is written for men.
It is here to help men see themselves if they want to maybe try to figure out something about why something isn't working in their relationship.
And those of you who have been around me long enough have heard me say this before, which is a relationship is really just two people.
It's two individuals.
So if you want to improve a relationship, you don't try to fix the relationship.
You don't work on the relationship.
You work on yourself as an individual.
Notice that I didn't say you work on your partner.
You don't work on trying to fix them.
They have to do their own work.
You do yours.
Now, one of the things that came up in, uh, when I published the women's version of this post and the one that I talked about in last week's episode, Receiving to Give, I got a lot of messages from you ladies out there like, "Okay, great.
Love it.
What do I do about my man?" And that's a pattern.
That is a pattern that you have to be willing to look at.
If you were one of those women or if you maybe had that same thought, you have to be willing to look at that and say, "His work is his." It's very easy to go, "Okay, yep, saw my stuff.
Now he needs to fix himself." Yeah, he probably does, but you need to work on you.
So for tonight's episode, I'm going to recap some of the high points of this post, and then I'm going to take your questions about what it is that I can help you with or how I can help you maybe make sense of this or implement it for yourself.
So let's go ahead and get started.
