Celebrating Arlen House at 50 & WEB Writers’ Group at 40

My name is Ciara Jones, and on behalf of DLR Libraries, you're all very welcome today for this special event commemorating not one but two milestones, 50 years of Arlen House and 40 years of the Webb Women's Writing Group.

So we're delighted to have you all here today to share those celebrations.

Before I hand you over to the inimitable Alan, I just want to actually do a few housekeeping notices.

So in the unlikely event that the fire alarm does sound, we will all make our way through the door through which you came and we'll wait outside at the metals until the all clear is given for us to re-enter the building.
