All right, Logan, I know we had something else we wanted to talk about today, but I want to go off script a little bit because I couldn't believe it.
I was not watching the speech.
I don't even know where the speech was, but you'd have to be living under a rock not to hear that President Trump has promised what he's calling the Trump Dividend where if, this is kind of humorous, I mean, it's fascinating to me, that if the Republicans were to remain or win or stay in power in the House and the Senate, which is what they have now, and slated not to have that power, slated to lose at least the House, probably the Senate, maybe, but if they stay in power, he will give...
Now, number one,
I want
to
know, what are your thoughts on this? I think it's...
interesting.
I think a lot of, um, a lot of politicians do this in a, not in a much more subtle way than the way that Trump does it, which is typically a lot of the things that Donald Trump does, but they do it in ways of, oh, we're going to cut taxes or we're going to do X, Y, and Z, or we're going to give you a, an expanded child tax credit, et cetera, et cetera.
Like we can say all we want, but there is definitely like a buying of votes that happens across the board.
In our country.
You're spot on.
It is so fascinating to me for a couple of reasons.
Number one, can he create some executive order and give everybody $5,000? No, he cannot.
That would be a legislative process, just like tax cuts or increasing child tax credit or every, as you mentioned eloquently, every other political promise that we have heard.
But I don't think, at least in my view, life that I can recall that there has been ever this, we're going to not go around the, like the idea of quote unquote buying votes, like five, you know, tax credits.
We're going to, we're going to just issue checks.
We're just going to say this is what's happening.
Now, that being said, I love him or hate him, and this is not a political show.
We stray.
We avoid the topic, okay? I do not want to alienate one side or another.
And quite frankly, I've said this publicly a lot, and certainly to people that I know, I think both sides have gone crazy.
Holy cow.
I can point to crazy on both sides, in my opinion.
