my least favorite sleeping with sirens album i hope this is not a contentious take it is gossip i mean it was the obvious pick it was the obvious pick

man it's it's hard to listen to and it's it's so interesting to listen to how far they fell between madness and gossip but i'm not saying i'm a huge madness guy i'll tell you what it's it's a lot higher on my list it ain't number seven it's it's it actually has some redeemable qualities and i don't feel like gossip does i feel like gossip is the quintessential the label told us to release something and so we're gonna release this and it's going to be our all-out attempt at getting on the radio whatever station will play us it's going to be the all-out attempt to break into the mainstream And they just don't do it well.
You know when your eyes start to water because you're cringing? That's what Legends does for me.
And for them to waste how many, I mean, how many songs, 10, 11, like it felt like they were releasing it with the hopes that his voice would carry.
And honestly, it feels like that with, with a lot of their releases or at least a lot of their songs where it's like the song is bad, but because Kellen Quinn is on the mic, like there's a, there's a chance that it catches.
just because it's such a powerful voice but it's like this is a tough listen and it's sad to hear and it's one of those things where it's like it it feels like when a company that's cool like vice media gets bought by private equity and then like becomes awful like the worst and by like for the record that started on the album feel for sleeping with sirens but it Gossip just turns that to the max, where it's like, this is elevator music, this is H&M music, this is mall on a Tuesday afternoon music, where it's like, I feel like I'm in hell.
It, I don't like to rip into albums like this, but like when, when the effort set forth on this one and like the goal is so clear, I don't love it.
