Um, it talks about training for trail running and ultras, uh, how that makes your, basically your time change and your energy change, uh, what that, what that will look like, um, as an everyday person, and that it will look different for people, um, just because our lives are different, our jobs are different.

Um, I am a contractor/consultant, whatever you want to call me, um, in my, uh, Johnson & Johnson work, and it, uh, it does provide for flexibility.

So it's super helpful for me as an ultra runner and just a person to have that.

I know other people who, like, have to be in the office at a certain time, uh, and for a certain duration.

Um, just cer- different things like that that don't allow for that flexibility.

But it talks about too, like, if you decide to run, um, an ultra or even run a half-marathon and you either are not a runner now or it's, it's upping your distance, things are probably gonna change in your life a bit, um, if you want to accomplish that, um, and you've set some goals for yourself.

So and we're gonna talk a little bit too about, like, hitting an off-season and why that's important.

So and also get ready for, uh, next week, uh, because I'm gonna get a little bit juicier.

There's a lot going on in women's sports right now for a few different reasons.

Um, [smacks lips] and not even women's sports, but Callaway Golf, um, assholes.

Um, but, uh, these have impacts on women, and they just need to be talked about.

But it's gonna require a lot more, uh, mental capacity than I have at this current time.

So we are hitting this one, which I am super excited to talk about, and then next week we're gonna get a little bit juicier.

So when I think about, like, how running has changed, um, for me, like, a lot of times what happens, when you guys, any of, if any of you follow me on Facebook or just know me in real life, uh, a lot of li- a lot of the vacations that I've been on for the past several years typically involve a trail or being near a trail or going to a race or, like I just did, like, going around Mont Blanc.
