Mark KennedyHostMark ScuttHostLiam MooreHostIt's to do with really... recruitment but more importantly when it comes to recruitment it's do people have an do people have that challenge or to have more people faced a situation where you reach a certain position within an organization or you reach a certain level and how do you take that you know next step for me you know i want to i want to continue to progress and move forward But, you know, how do you end up becoming a director or a CEO or a managing director? I don't know if Mark's gut feels the same, but, you know, to me, I suppose a question to ask Mark Kay is, you know, how do you do it? Is it the right place at the right time? Is it to do with a business? I don't know.

because one of the things we spoke about as well was getting people through the industry.

How do you keep people in the industry? And it always comes down to competencies and experience.

And the trouble with our industry, let me put it out there, is that we regurgitate the same people.

So just because the person's got director in their title, we automatically make sure that they get the next director's job.

So, for example, you might see an MD float around the industry in several jobs, especially sales directors, you see this.

You know, they float around and they get that before you because you haven't had that silly terminology that says director into it.

There's a lot of companies that still go out there for qualifications, which is okay sometimes, but to be honest with you, not everyone that's really good in the industry with all the experience for example like you you've got has got the time to go back to university and get a degree or anything else like that we've got to start stepping away and looking at the experience that we've got within our industry and I know that there's there's a couple of people that are fed up at the moment I've seen people in the industry that have been out of work for long periods of time and I know there's we've had conversations about certain recruitment companies.

I think we should still do a recruitment special and get someone to answer the questions.

We did used to have Charlie obviously but I don't think he was ever comfortable answering the question.

You know where they're putting you up for jobs, they're approaching you and putting you up for jobs and then all of a sudden they tell you that you're well suited and they've found you and then they tell you that there isn't an interview or you go and interview and you're probably up against somebody that they already want already

I think you need, first of all, to be honest with you, Liam, you need someone who's going to give you a chance.
