We've got a surgical robotics forward episode for you today, brought to you by our good friends at Harmonic Drive.

Uh, he cannot replace Chris Newmarker, of course, but, uh, Steve and I connected at, uh, SRS 2026, where I was last week.

Sorry if I missed, uh, a lot of you, but I'm sure we'll connect again, or connect for the first time in the future.

Uh, we talked with Christie on the floor of, uh, SRS 2026 about Karl Storz's decision to de-emphasize, uh, the, uh, census, uh, or I guess discontinue the census, uh, surgical robotic systems.

Uh, they incorporated a lot of census technologies into their imaging technologies, but they're not going forward with, uh, with their own surgical robotic systems.

Uh, they did partner with Moon, they did partner with Civado, and Christie and I will talk about that.

And then finally, speaking of Civado, uh, you'll hear my conversation with Brian Miller, the CEO of Civado, formerly of Intuitive Surgical.

Uh, Brian and I spoke at DeviceTalks Boston, so, uh, happy to bring you that conversation.

This was, uh, a month or so after Brian took the, uh, helm at Civado, and, uh, we'll learn a lot, I learn a lot about Civado's approach and how it's, uh, building the, uh, well, the information superhighway for surgical robotics.

Once again, this entire episode is brought to you by Harmonic Drive, and we'll hear from Harmonic Drive a little later in the podcast.

Before I let you go, I did wanna let you know that we'll have a DeviceTalks Tuesdays, a few of them coming up in August, so make sure you go to devicetalks.com to, uh, check those out.

We've got our friends from PS and Labs and others who will be giving a great talk, so make sure you look for those, uh, on devicetalks.com. All right.
