So when I first wrote my first book, I thought I was a bad writer when I realized underneath the surface there were many other things going on that led me to believe that, right? And There's a lot of romanticizing around what a good writer looks like.

Like we see the movies and we see the TV shows of someone getting a book deal and they're like, hair is messy and they're writing through the night and in a cabin and they get all this, you know, these book deals and all these external validations to then show that this is a good writer.

The process that we take a lot of the time is going to look different for all of us.
