So just a note before I even get into any of my reasons that every family is different and So it is in no way, I am in no way saying that homeschooling is the only way to educate.

And one of the things I think is really sweet is that we have Christian freedom to choose to seek what's going to be best for our particular family.

As parents, I think it is pretty clear that God has commanded us to be faithful to raise our children faithfully and to raise them well, and that we ought to be the ones who are determining how how they are going to be educated.

And so I think Christian parents should be very involved in the education of their children, but that can happen in a lot of different contexts.

Like what a blessing that to live in this day and age where we do have so many options for how to teach our children what is true.

Because I think some of the things I'm going to share are things that all of us would say we want for all of our kids.

And I think there are a lot of different ways to accomplish the goals that I have and the goals that you have.

So what a blessing that we can bring this before the Lord, that this is something he wants us to bring to him, that we ought to be serious in our prayer and in our seeking of what is going to be best for my family.

And knowing that this is a weighty and also a liberating and beautiful response ability for us.

So I say this because I love this podcast to be a place for people who are homeschoolers and people who are not homeschoolers because there is not one particular method that is right for everyone.

I'm just going to share my experience and I hope you can listen to it knowing that I'm just sharing my experience.

So why do I particularly love homeschooling? as a homeschool mom myself with five kids, and as a homeschooler who is one of four.

And I think when it really boils down to it is there's probably a lot more I could say, but there are four things that stand out to me on this particular day.

And that is Christian instruction, academic rigor, family connection, and a flexible lifestyle.
