385 | How Getting Rid of Almost Everything Changed Her Life

I am so excited to be chatting with you today.

I can't wait.

So there is so much that I want to cover today about your story.

But I think we should just start from the beginning.

There must have been a moment, like something that happened where you just decided, you know what, this life ain't working for me.

And you made a big change.

And can you just tell us about that moment and then where it led you?

Yeah, so there was, it kind of was a slow build over a few years, but I guess it was probably 2012 or 13.

I got really sick and we couldn't figure it out.

It took almost a year to find out what was going on because I just had extreme fatigue.

I was losing feeling in my hands and fingers and nobody could figure out what's going on.

And they finally tracked it to an autoimmune disorder.

And then it was like, okay, where did this come from? And it finally over...

Eastern Medicine actually running a bunch of tests found that I had a really high level of several toxins and traced it back to the fire department.

So I was a firefighter and we would go on brush fires and find the belts of tires with no rubber and the skins of refrigerators and mattresses, but just the mattress spring.

So all that stuff was burning and we don't have protection in the forest and we're breathing it.

So it ends up I was poisoned.

I inhaled some really bad stuff and made me really, really sick to the point to where they're like, we need to check your blood because your organs might start failing.

And thankfully, Eastern Medicine healed me.

Like it took two years, but we did a massive detox and super strict diet and all this other stuff.

And I was getting better.
