Her husband was said to have had the keys to their Airstream trailer and to their vehicle in his pocket at the time of her disappearance.

And, as far as her husband or friends knew, Polly was not entertaining any sort of thoughts at the time of her disappearance, although it was reported that she had been under a doctor's care recently for minor depression, but was not considered a danger to herself or others, certainly.

Polly was known to have been a heavy user of Valium for its sedation and calming effects as recently as 1979, a full two years before she vanished in the mountains.

ANK Sanctuary will open Samkani Camp late next year on Bolivia's Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat.

Experiences will include volcanic caves, stargazing, and special activities reserved for ANK Sanctuary guests.
