I think of the mindfulness term beginner's mind and how we can take that perspective into any part of our day.

Even if we have a routine or we have the same job, the same family that we're showing up to each day, we can choose to see it in a new way, and it's a new beginning every day.

[upbeat music] Have you ever wished you had a wise meditation teacher on speed dial?
Someone you can call after a long day?
Someone you could lean on for their advice?

This is the podcast where each week I sit down with a Headspace teacher and answer your questions, and today I am joined by the ever lovely, always amazing Sam Snowden.

I'm a mindfulness teacher at Headspace, and I've been teaching mindfulness for about 15 years.

And, um, [laughs] so once I discovered it as a teenager, I just started really going deep, you know, training with people, training with experts, um, developing my own practice, going to grad school.

And so yeah, my whole life it's been this mindfulness journey and I love it.

This is our very first, um, Dear Headspace podcast, and, like, I'm so excited to be able to sit here with you all.

I feel like this opportunity to just learn from you guys, we're gonna have rotating Headspace meditation teachers coming in and answering questions.

It really is, and I think as teachers we so wanna connect with the listeners.

And so this is just this opportunity of a lifetime for us to hear real world questions and, um, and respond to them.
