Three Prayer Themes: Hope • Trust • Perseverance SCRIPTURE — Romans 15:13 (NIV) “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him…” The day is beginning to slow down now, but perhaps your mind has not received the message. You may be thinking about something that did not work out, a disappointment you are carrying, or a situation that still has no clear answer. Bring it to Jesus. Lord, we thank You that disappointment does not have to become despair. We can be honest about what hurts while still leaving room for hope. Your Word calls You the God of hope. That means our hope is not built on pretending everything is fine. It is rooted in who You are. We pray for Uganda, Canada, Brazil, Hungary, Romania and Russia. Wherever this prayer reaches tonight, strengthen people who are carrying disappointment, uncertainty or weariness. Holy Spirit, bring peace into troubled thoughts. Help us trust Jesus when circumstances have not changed yet. Give perseverance to those who have been waiting longer than they expected. This morning we looked up. Then we listened. At midday we came thirsty. Now, as evening comes, we choose to trust. Jesus, You have not changed because our circumstances changed. You remain faithful. So we release the need to understand everything tonight. We make room for hope. Perhaps the answer has not arrived yet. Perhaps the door has not opened. But Jesus is still here, and because He is here, hope still has room to grow. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
