Three Prayer Themes: Hope • Trust • Peace Scripture — Romans 15:13 (NIV) “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him.” PASTORAL PRAYER As evening approaches, perhaps you are looking back over the day and wondering whether you handled everything as well as you could. Maybe something remains unresolved, or the future feels less certain than you would like. You don’t have to carry those unanswered questions into the night. Pause with Jesus. The God who has been with you through this day is still with you now. Romans calls Him the God of hope, and that hope is not wishful thinking. It is confidence in who God is. Lord Jesus, we bring You the things we cannot change and the things we cannot yet understand. Where uncertainty has unsettled us, give us peace. Where disappointment has weakened our hope, restore it. Teach us to trust You with what lies beyond our sight. We pray for Belgium, Spain and France, asking that Your hope would reach families, churches and communities. We remember Canada, Brazil and Hungary, asking You to strengthen those who are facing uncertain circumstances and help them discover peace in Your presence. Holy Spirit, help us trust God when we cannot see the whole picture. Señor Jesús, llena nuestros corazones de esperanza. Senhor Jesus, enche-nos de esperança. Panginoong Jesus, tulungan Mo kaming magtiwala. Tonight, we release tomorrow into God’s hands. We don’t need to solve it before we sleep. The God of hope is already there. So breathe deeply, receive His peace, and let trust replace the need to control what you cannot control. Jesus, You are with us. Our hope is not finished. Amen.
