Three Prayer Themes: Renewal • Strength • Perseverance Scripture — 2 Corinthians 4:16 (NIV) “Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” Prayer By midday, the strength you had this morning may already feel stretched. Perhaps the work has been demanding, the news has been heavy, or something personal has taken more out of you than you expected. If you are weary, you do not have to pretend otherwise before Jesus. Paul reminds us that even when outwardly we are wasting away, inwardly God can renew us day by day. Jesus, that is the hope we need. Our circumstances may not change immediately, but You can meet us within them and renew what has become tired inside us. We pray for people in Uganda, Canada, Brazil, Hungary, Romania, and Russia. Strengthen those who are carrying responsibilities nobody else sees. Renew parents, carers, workers, students, pastors and people who are quietly trying to keep going. Holy Spirit, breathe fresh life into tired hearts and remind us that weakness does not disqualify us from Your care. Jesus, we bring You the pressure we have been carrying. We bring You the conversation we cannot stop thinking about, the task we do not know how to finish, and the burden we have been trying to hide. Teach us to receive Your strength rather than constantly measuring our own. Give us enough grace for this afternoon. Give us patience for the next conversation and courage for the next responsibility. We do not need strength for everything that might happen tomorrow. We need grace for this moment, and You are here. So renew us, Jesus. Lift our eyes, steady our hearts, and help us continue without losing hope. What feels empty in us is not beyond Your renewing touch.Amen.
