Heavenly Father, we gather together and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful name of Jesus Christ.
Where two or more are gathered, there You'll be in the midst of us, and anything we agree upon as touching, You will surely do.
Father, in Jesus' name, there's no distance in the Spirit, and we thank You for the person I'm praying for who desires this prayer to You.
Heavenly Father, thank You for this brand-new day.
Thank You for the breath in their lungs, the beating heart in their chest, and the sunrise that whispers, "You've got another chance." You've woken them up today because You still have a purpose for them.
I thank You that even if the night seemed long, the dawn still came because You never failed to keep Your promises.
Lord, I lift them up to You right now.
You see anything they may be carrying.
Chains that may not rattle, but weigh heavy nonetheless.
Some are made of fear, others of regret or shame.
But right now, I thank You that through the finished work of Christ, those chains are falling in Jesus' name.
As You said in John 8:36, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." That means complete freedom, not partial, not temporary, but lasting.
Holy Spirit, move right now in their heart.
Sweep through every hidden corner where pain may have tried to build walls, and break through with Your light.
Where they may have believed lies about who they are, replace them with truth.
Remind the person I'm praying for that they're not what they've done.
They're who You say they are: redeemed, loved, chosen, and called.
