The points lead has changed hands in **TWO categories** — and with Dallas up next, things are about to get even more interesting. Jordan Pratt’s pressure-packed Super Gas win in St. Louis vaulted him…
He is having a season for the ages, really in both cars, but specific to this conversation in Supergas.
Jordan rolled into St. Louis last weekend, picked up a pressure-packed victory in the super gas category.
It's his fourth super gas win of the season to go along with a runner-up at the U.S. Nationals, and that vaulted him into the points lead ahead of Nathan Vrooman, who we've been talking about for the past month, how I said he's in the lead, but that number beside his name is a bit precarious.
Not only has Vrooman relinquished the lead, Vrooman's last points earning opportunities were in St. Louis.
Pratt sits at 624 points, which again, like if I've said for a month that I'm not real confident Nathan Vrooman's 612 points would hold up, I would be remiss to say that I think 624 is safe for Jordan Pratt.
However, Pratt is in, I don't want to say dominant position, but he's definitely in the best position of any contenders because not only does he sit atop the pack relatively comfortably at this point at 624, he still has four opportunities to improve and he's improving early finishes at all of them.
at all four events remaining on his schedule and he is planning on making the tour right so it's it's dallas it's vegas vegas pomona um for pratt so the opportunity is there he definitely controls his own destiny that said it is far from over because particularly if he fails to improve or really like i think if you're jordan pratt you'd feel pretty good about this if you could get to 650.
You get Tim Powell, Phil Unruh, um, Bo Butner, Chris Whitfield, all perennial top 10 finishers.
Um, what's interesting, I think about super gas in addition to so many other categories, I'll probably dedicate another episode later this week to this.
I would assume at least three or four of them are running the divisional on Tuesday, in addition to the national event over the weekend.
