So the Gemara asks Rabbi Yochanan, "If so, if you're gonna say that the Rav Shimon holds that and something which is asur baNoach does not receive-- cannot be mekabel tumas ochelim, does not become like tumah from food because it's asur baNoach, 'cause it's prohibited to benefit.

So why does Rav Shimon say that the reason why it receives tumah basar b'chalav and it's different than the other things that are asur baNoach.

So he gives the reason the haye so lo she'asa kasher, because there was a time that it was food before the basar, the meat, and the milk got mixed in together.

Tepa klei, he should say without this reason that it receives tumah because the ochel sha'ato yachel achile lacheirim hu, because according to Rav Shimon's opinion, basar b'chalav is permissible baNoach, and you can, uh, feed it to other people.
