Subscribe to CyBytes Newsletter https://cybytes.io/newsletter The UAE has become an incredibly attractive place to build a cybersecurity career. The competition is getting tougher and tougher…
Yeah, it's not easy whatsoever, especially your point about competition specifically, man.
It's crazy how that's changed in the last three years now.
It's wild.
Especially a lot of these big companies trying to hire a lot more and trying to grow out their own way.
There's this weird consolidation that's happening, I've noticed.
And it's very hard to keep up, even for myself.
I work specifically in training, and that's tough, dude.
Oh, yes.
That's very tough.
I kind of relate to that.
A lot of high expectation, actually.
Exactly, yeah.
I mean, you look at all these job postings coming up.
Someone posted on that group.
It was ridiculous.
it was insane.
And even the requirements for new joiners for stock analysts it's getting so high and it's making it really really tough for new joiners to get involved yeah and i don't like that man yeah
yeah yeah it's it's really hard um especially if you're a student here and you know you gotta try for the position that you wanted but But sometimes there's also lack of fresh graduate hiring right now, to be honest.
And I guess there's a lot of campaigns now where there's some sort of mentorship from fresh graduates to experienced professionals so they can get into the industry, which I really, really love.
But so hopefully there's also even more companies that would be willing to hire people who's from college degree getting up to speed in the cyber area.
Yeah, it's much, much needed, especially now with a lot of students working on some really cool stuff these days.
