Rain, Hail or Shine: Chris Stannage on Cyber Run Club, Community and Mental Health

Now, today's episode is a little bit different.

Yes, my guest works in cybersecurity, but we're not really here to talk about breach containment or zero trust architecture.

We're here to talk about something arguably more important, and that is the people behind the security industry and what it actually takes to show up and do this job sustainably.

So my guest today is Chris Stanage, a Scottish-born, Melbourne-based senior account executive at Illumio.

He's been in Australia for over 11 years, and before that, he came through the world of competitive rugby, a background that gave him a team-first, high-performance mindset that clearly never left him.

But

what I really want to talk to Chris about today is something he built outside of his day job, which is the Cyber Run Club.

So the Run Club is a regular gathering at the TAN here in beautiful Melbourne that brings cyber professionals together for movement, fresh air and honest conversation with zero pressure and zero agenda.
