Does God Cry?

... that Oliver said no.

Both your kids said no.

Both my kids said no.

Yeah.

Which I gotta work with them on that.

No, that is a logical initial answer to this question.

Uh-huh.

I wanna defend your children [laughs] and say-

[laughs]

... because I don't remember exactly, like, w- this was one question of many questions.

Uh-huh.

So they had just been given-

Yes, yes

... like many questions about God.

So they're thinking in terms, like their theological hats are on-

Uh-huh

... as much as they can be for small children, and they're going, "Okay, what are things I know about God?" And if you're thinking about God in the abstract-

Mm-hmm

... and you're just like powerful, made the world, like-

Yep

... we had been talking about things like how did God make everything?

Yeah, yeah.

And did God rest on the seventh day, and what does that mean? Like, you're thinking cosmic about God, and then you're asked, "Does God cry?" You're like, "That-

Of c-

... just doesn't seem right."
