Alan FinlaysonHostSo what we're talking about today, we're going to focus on today specifically, is Andy Burnham becoming Labour leader and...
Not becoming Labour leader, becoming Labour leader and then becoming Prime Minister within a couple of days.
And... and alan has proposed alan tell us about the special stick that you're going to so yeah so rather than me

talk a bit and then you say you agree with all that i'm going to deliberately disagree with you so i'm i'm going to take the the opposite of devil's advocate i'm going to be i guess it's the beatification advocate right because i know i know you're going to say this is terrible or worrying or not great or whatever but And we could both do that for an hour.

So we could see at the end of it, I may not agree with what I say, but we may end up going, okay, we've got a better picture for it.

I think that might make for a more interesting discussion than just talking about the biographies of various political people that we hadn't heard of before last week.
And because I think we are obviously the general response from the political left to the appointment of Burnham's cabinet and government has been very disappointed and very pessimistic.
I think it's important that we include for the sake of rigour all the reasons why actually it might not be that bad.
I also think like, if you don't want to hear us do that, if you think that means we're naive, that we think actually everything is just fine.
