I think I spend most of my time on a plane, but when I'm not, I like to be in San Francisco.

The Magic Factory was built at the turn of the 20th century as a furniture factory, but its most illustrious piece of history was during the 70s and 80s, it was really the center of this big San Francisco leather scene.

Even today, the Folsom Street Fair, which is a leather fair, is the second largest event in California behind the Rose Bowl.

I purchased the building with the idea that, you know, I could sort of live and work there.

It was going to be this Warholian moment that I was going to fill it with the most creative people and we would do you know, exciting work.

I used to live on the top floor and then the next two floors of the kind of layer cake where our studio and the lowest floor was my warehouse to begin with.
