How do you feel? You know how they say when you have a child, not that I've ever had a child, they say when you have a child, all the pains that came with pregnancy, you forget it because of this gift.
And that's how it feels, like we're birthing something finally.
And all the months of planning and all the long meetings and all the conversations, it's now in the real world.
That's all that creativity is at the end of the day.
waking up one day and something not existing and going to bed and that thing now exists in the world even though it didn't exist when you woke up that morning so it's just that gift makes me feel super grateful and i just can't wait to see how much of that happens for other people as a result of us doing this yeah
what about you adora
how do you feel
I feel grateful.
I feel blessed that we get to be the vessels to birth this great vision for the continent and beyond.
I feel grateful for the team that came together to do this great work.
I feel happy, you know, happy there is...
It's one thing to have an idea and a dream.
It's another thing to put in the effort over time to be able to bring it to life, you know, and there's just something powerful about releasing when you're in that place where it's like the thing has come from inside of your soul and you've released it into the world, you know, and you just kind of, there's no taking it back in.
You ship it out and there's no taking it back in.
You know, it feels like a completion of something a creative process, you know? And at this point, after we ship it out, I just say to myself every day now, I'm like, now you gotta steward it, you know? Like, you gotta steward it.
And that's, yeah, so I feel a lot of gratitude.
That's beautiful.
Still on you, Adora, this question is for you.
What's one thing that has happened in this first season that you thought will take more time?
I think for me, it's been just how fast everyone on the team has adapted to roles that they haven't necessarily played before, right? It's one thing to come in with a particular skill that you've developed over time and to you know, play a role that requires only that particular skill.
And it's another thing to have to build skill on a project.
And I've just really seen people, you know, show up and take lessons, take learnings, take ownership, you know, of what they need to do and just get better, you know? And I knew that those things will happen over a longer period of time.
But it's been interesting to just see how much capacity we have as human beings when we put ourselves in a position where we're willing.
You know, when there is willingness, there's always a way.
And when there's willingness, there's always an opportunity for fast growth, for faster growth, right, than normal.
