well we were both at the hospital we're on the same floor like sitting kind of rooms apart and so my family was there and your family there and my family i didn't i didn't i didn't know who sam was we hadn't met at this point and so me and my family were talking like oh this this family's going through the same thing as us and blah blah blah and then It was only when we were living together that we were talking and we realized, oh, wow, that was you.

Yeah.

And this is in Melbourne.

It's not even in Sydney.

crazy.

I've got goosebumps.

It was so weird because we were talking about it and then we're like, oh, wow, my stepdad was dying of cancer at the same time.

And then we realized it was the same floor.

And then he realized, oh, your family was the one on the left.

And I was like, it was so crazy.

It's crazy.

We were walking past each other every day, going through the exact same thing, not knowing in a few months' time we're going to be playing siblings and being housemates.

Isn't that crazy?

Because when I got the audition for Home and Away, it said the character had just lost his dad and was coming to find, like, his long-lost sister.
