As we lead off with that news, you see wvsports.com sharing this post here on social media yesterday.

And of course, it's been across many sources now, but four different WVU athletes have been granted a fifth year of eligibility.

And this is coming from a federal court as well.

So basketball will have Brennan Lorient back for one more season.

Javen Buchanan, the transfer from Boise State, also now eligible for the Mountaineers.

And that's big because those two guys right there are two important forwards for your front court this season in basketball.

Then on the football side of things, Jason Chambers now eligible.

He's been practicing with the team, been around since the season started.

Now, you know, four games into it, he'll finally get to go.

And he should be able to jump right in considering he was a starting corner for the Mountaineers last year.

Same defensive coordinator, same system.

So should be able to see him in short order.

We should be able to see Jason Chambers contribute and help this football team and help out in the secondary, an area where they need it, which is nice.

And then, of course, Ben McDougall, a great relief pitcher for West Virginia baseball as well, also now eligible.

So helping multiple Mountaineer sports is this announcement.

We've been waiting to hear about this.

You know, we were supposed to hear about it a few days ago.

Finally, the ruling comes down and it's a positive one for the Mountaineers.

It's going to help us across multiple of our sports programs.
