Slow sales on eBay, Poshmark, or another reselling platform? Before you stop selling, how do you know whether the problem is the platform—or your business strategy?Molly and Samantha discuss when to…
Why do we blame the platform first?
Oh, because it's so much easier to blame somebody else.
It's so much
easier.
Especially right now.
This comes out on election day.
So I hope everybody has voted or is going to vote.
You still have time.
And then they say that it's going to be better after that.
That sales are going to go up.
Everybody's going to feel better about their lives.
So really hoping for that personally and professionally.
So we're not blaming the platforms right now.
We're blaming the elections.
I was going to say, I feel like right now there's so many other things to blame that that's why people aren't reflecting on themselves.
They're just blaming everything else.
It's the government's fault.
Well, and I think sometimes it can be the fault of the platform.
I don't know, we see when they make a lot of changes, when a platform makes a lot of changes, whether it's an acquisition of another platform or they change their policies or something on their platform, there's always some kind of a side effect, right? Yeah.
So you can't get on the app and live selling is not all over the place.
