Commissioner in a Car: Everything You Need to Know About Mail Voting

And there are several ways you can mail.

That you can get a mail ballot.

You can either go online using the portal.

And I'll do a little example of that in a second.

Live example.

Or...

You can print out a form either from our website or, yeah, actually from our website at home and mail it to us.

You can request a form to be mailed to you.

by us and with a self-addressed envelope to mail the application back.

And then we will mail the ballot to you.

But you're starting to run out of time for that option.

And or you can come down to the Board of Elections office, 830 to 430 any weekday or any early voting day and request a mail ballot there and even vote right in our office if that's what you want.

So first thing I'm going to do is talk about how to request a mail ballot.

The best way to do this, and I'm going to go over it on our portal.

If you go to onvote.net, this is our Board of Elections website here, my handy dandy tablet, and you scroll down, there's some buttons right at the bottom.

See down here, there's a button that says request to vote or I'm sorry.

It says request your ballot early in absentee.

It's right over here with the envelope.

You click on it.

It goes right to this page here.

There's a button that says request a ballot.

You hit that.

And then it brings you to the New York State Board of Elections website.

That's where all of our portal requests go through.

And you'll have options.
